Windows Server 2025 Evaluation එක Standard Edition එකට Upgrade කරන හැටි (සිංහල)

Windows Server 2025 Evaluation එක reinstall නොකර full Standard edition එකට convert කළ හැක — roles, applications සහ data සියල්ල ආරක්ෂා වේ; වෙනස් වන්නේ licensing state එක පමණයි. අවශ්‍ය වන්නේ valid Server 2025 Standard key එකක් සහ මිනිත්තු 10ක් පමණයි.

පටන් ගැනීමට පෙර

• Administrator ලෙස elevated Command Prompt / PowerShell
• Genuine Windows Server 2025 Standard key එකක් (SoftwareKey.us වෙතින්)
• Activation එකට internet
• Backup/snapshot එකක් — ආරක්ෂාවට

පියවර 1 — Evaluation edition එකේද කියා බලන්න

DISM /online /Get-CurrentEdition

Output එකේ ServerStandardEval පෙන්විය යුතුය.

පියවර 2 — Target editions බලන්න

DISM /online /Get-TargetEditions

ServerStandard ලැයිස්තුවේ ඇති බව තහවුරු කරන්න.

පියවර 3 — Key එක සමඟ convert කරන්න

DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula

Command එකට මිනිත්තු කීපයක් යයි — 100% වන තුරු ඉවසන්න.

පියවර 4 — Restart

shutdown -r -t 0

පියවර 5 — Verify කර activate කරන්න

DISM /online /Get-CurrentEdition   ← දැන් ServerStandard පෙන්විය යුතුයි
slmgr /xpr                          ← activation status
slmgr /ato                          ← online activation

Activation සාර්ථක වූ පසු desktop එකේ evaluation watermark එක නැති වේ.

ගැටලු විසඳුම්

• "Invalid product key" — typo එකක් හෝ වෙනත් Server version එකක key එකක්. Server 2025 ට 2025-specific key එකක්ම අවශ්‍යයි.
• "Edition not valid" — Datacenter Eval එකක සිට Standard එකට යාම valid නොවේ (Datacenter Eval → Datacenter පමණයි).
• Convert වූ පසු activation fail — key එක explicit ලෙස install කර activate කරන්න:

  slmgr /ipk XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX
  slmgr /ato

• Server එකට internet නැත — phone activation: SoftwareKey.us Get CID tool එකෙන් Confirmation ID එක තත්පර කීපයකින්.
